About Talkededited Roofing and How We Connect You
Who We Are
Talkededited Roofing is a referral service for homeowners across the Cincinnati area. We link people who have a roof problem with independent local roofing contractors. That is the whole job. We are a connector, not a roofer.
Why This Exists
Most people hunt for a roofer in a hurry. They scroll, compare, wait for callbacks, and the leak keeps dripping. We built Talkededited Roofing around one idea: less searching. Reach out early, while the problem is still small, and get in front of a provider sooner.
Roofs around Cincinnati take a beating. Deep frost in winter, heat and humidity in summer, hard thunderstorms, hail and spring flooding all leave marks. Older frame houses, bungalows and ranch homes often need a close look.
How Matching Works
You call or send a request. Tell us what you see, how old the roof is, and what the weather did. Then Talkededited Roofing passes your details to a provider in our network that serves your area. The provider reaches out to talk through next steps and, if it makes sense, set up an estimate.
Availability varies by provider. Request a callback to check provider availability, or use the request form and wait for a reply.
What We Expect From Providers
Providers in our network are independent businesses. We ask them to:
- Explain the scope of work in plain words
- Put pricing in a written quote
- Carry the licenses and insurance your area requires
- Respect your home, yard and schedule
- Answer your questions honestly
Still, do your own check. Ask to see proof of license and insurance before you sign anything.
What We Do Not Do
Talkededited Roofing does not do roofing work. No tear-offs, no tarps, no shingles. The provider you hire does that.
We are also not an insurance company or an adjuster, and we do not set prices. Some policies may cover sudden damage, so check your policy. Providers can often help document damage for a claim, but the decision belongs to your insurer.
How We Are Paid
Asking for a connection does not obligate you to hire anyone. Talkededited Roofing may receive a referral fee from a provider when a homeowner is connected. That arrangement is between us and the provider. Your quote comes from the provider, in writing, and you decide what to do with it.
Get Your Paperwork Ready
A little prep makes the first conversation smoother. Ground level first:
- Snap photos of the whole house, then close-ups of trouble spots
- Note the date of any storm and when you first saw the problem
- Write down the roof's approximate age, if you know it
- Save past repair receipts and any earlier estimates
Never climb onto a wet, icy or damaged roof to take pictures. Photos from the yard and the attic floor are enough.
